Which is the best of Butlins and Pontins? We went to Pontins Camber Sands last year and I have to say it was a complete dive - and right next to Dungeoness Nuclear Power Station - it looked like it hadn't been updated since the 1950s and to be honest it was a sad and lonely place..
(ALways good to get away though:) )
Now we are considering another chalet holiday, specifically Minehead Butlins and wondered how it compares to Pontins - is it better than hi de hi and more up to date than a Pontins - or should we consider Centre Parks instead?

Butlins is a much classier [relative] alternative to Pontins. Whreas Pontins is stuck in the '50's Butlins has at least made it to the 80's!
