I thought I would share our experience of holiday hell holiday rental scam when we hired a car in Greece last year, in the hope that it will save you some worry!

We were in Kavos, Corfu last summer and thought it would be a great idea to rent a car to get around for a few days - we were told that as it was our last few days that we could leave the car at the airport on our last day for no extra charge - of course the company had all our credit card details; we found out a few days after we had got home that they had charged us 150 Euros for the privelege of not dropping it off at the car hire shop - if we had known this was going to happen we would have got the bus

Just a word of warning to you all so your holiday doesnt get spoilt too!
